ELHO Twin 4600 Swather

Description

The ELHO Twin 4600 Swather is a front mounted swather with an angled rotor, is the newest arrival to the Twin family. This front mounted one-rotor machine is equipped with all the familiar benefits of other Twin models: it lifts and moves the forage in the air so there is no need to drive on top of it and the forage stays clean.

The driving distances in the field drops by half. By combining the swaths for a forage harvester, time is saved, more havesting is more efficient and less fuel is needed. The ELHO Twin 4600 Swather has a strong following by users who want a machine to turn large swaths of straw when wet or before baleing. This has become more of an issue with recent wet harvests and combines leaving ever bigger swaths of straw,

The Twin 4600 handles all sizes of swath, and all types of crops, including pea, rape, barly and wheat straws, hay and silage, miscanthus and even litter collection. The swathing unit includes a floating installation to the frame to ensure clean both pick up and forage. The machine is fully hydraulic and only requires a flow of 25 l/min. When using the Twin 460 as a “regular” swather, combining two or three swaths can be done effectively
